PAST PRODUCTION
When Reginald and Stephen first decided to write a play, it was all about the love of the art. And then they got sponsored. Now they're ready to sell out as hard as possible. The Earl of Winchelsea's Brother is a hilarious new comedy about making theatre, making money, and drinking a little too much gin in the process. Includes some audience participation.
This play takes you on a journey like no other; mainly because Stephen and Reginald don't know what they are talking about!
A new comedy with a unique take on commercial theatre and selling out.

"this show differs with every performance and is executed with near flawless timing and professionalism by two talented actors"
As promotion for the show Reginald and Stephen spoke to admiring fans about their process in creating theatre, and most importantly, making money...
"[Bradley and Groom's] physical differentials almost present an image of Laurel and Hardy with beards, played with the demeanour of Jeeves and Wooster"
Within the writing process of this show, we researched theatres and their forms of advertising. We learned from this that certain theatres in France have started to place trailers and adverts before their theatre performances. Because of this, the whole idea of the two actors using any form of advertisement to get money was born! We created mini skits, as adverts for this show, to represent sponsors for the characters.
We took this a step further and created a new gin company - Hy Tyde Gin - to be the lead sponsor of the show, and created a USP for this brand...it contains a high amount of sea salt!
